Sleepy Hollow

Sleepy Hollow is an American gothic supernatural horror adventure. The film, adaptation loosely based on Washington Irving's 1820 short story "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow", stars Johnny Depp and was directed by Tim Burton. The plot follows police constable Ichabod Crane (Depp) sent from New York City to investigate a series of murders in the village of Sleepy Hollow by a mysterious Headless Horseman.

Alfie

Alfie is the ultimate amoral swinger. He swaggers and philosophises his way through a parade of 'birds' in 1960's London, allowing the audience to eavesdrop as he goes. When one carefree entanglement proves too close for even Alfie’s comfort, the swinger lands with a thud. The film was notoriously made famous by Michael Caine.

Four women, seemingly trapped on a raft in the middle of the ocean, hunted by a merciless sea-monster. But is all we see what is truly there? An original one-act musical around abuse, bravery and friendship.

A Clockwork Orange

March 12-14 2020

In an England of the future, Alex and his "Droogs" spend their nights getting high at the Korova Milkbar before embarking on "a little of the old ultraviolence". After Alex is jailed for bludgeoning the Cat Lady to death, Alex submits to BEHAVIOUR MODIFICATION TECHNIQUE to earn his freedom. He is conditioned to abhor violence, returned to the world defenceless, and becomes the victim of his prior victims. A controversial piece with Stanley Kubrick's 1971 adaption being banned from release in the UK.

Here, we witness a slice of this manipulation for the British Intelligence's benefit.

Frankenstein

A self-penned adaptation of Mary Shelley's classic gothic-horror comes to Brentwood Theatre for Halloween 2018. The return of EDP is marked with this incredible tale of God versus Man versus Monster. Frankenstein follows trainee physician Victor as he triumphs at reanimating a dead body. His guilt for creating such a thing forces him to abandon the seemingly dead creation, and now the 'creature' is awake and abandoned. Rejected by mankind, he seeks revenge on his creator's family to avenge his own sorrow. Beware; for he is fearless, and therefore powerful.

Mr. Jordan is checking passengers who are to depart in an airplane for the Hereafter. The routine is interrupted by the arrival of Joe Pendleton, an attractive prizefighter, who refuses to admit he is dead and induces Jordan to look up the "records" which reveal that Joe is not scheduled to arrive for another 60 years! But, as Joe starts to return to earth to continue his fighting, word reaches Heaven that Max Levene, Joe's manager, thinking he had been killed, had Joe's body cremated, and Joe has no body to return to. Jordan promises to find Joe another body...
